The bridal car appears in more wedding photos than almost anything else. It carries you to the akad nikah or tea ceremony, waits outside the venue and makes the grand arrival at your reception. Here is how to choose the right wedding car in Malaysia and book it with confidence.

Popular wedding cars in Malaysia
| Car | Best for | Seats |
|---|---|---|
| Rolls-Royce Wraith | The ultimate grand entrance and photos | 4 |
| Toyota Vellfire | Comfort for brides in full gowns or baju pengantin, and for parents | 7 |
| Mercedes-Benz S-Class | Classic, elegant and understated | 5 |
| Range Rover | Modern couples and garden or outdoor venues | 5 |
| Porsche or Lamborghini | A dramatic arrival or the groom’s car | 2–4 |
Tip: many couples book a Rolls-Royce for the couple and a Vellfire for parents or the bridal party. A matching convoy looks stunning in photos.
Think about the dress before the car
A long train, a voluminous gown or a traditional outfit with lots of fabric needs space. The Vellfire’s sliding doors and flat floor make it the easiest car to get in and out of gracefully. Two-door cars such as the Wraith look spectacular, but plan a few practice moments for getting in and out before the photographer starts shooting.
How far ahead should you book?
Book your wedding car 3 to 6 months ahead, especially for:
- Weekends during school holidays, when many Malaysian weddings take place.
- The weeks after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
- Auspicious dates for Chinese weddings.
Popular cars are often reserved months in advance for these dates.
What a wedding package should include
- A professional chauffeur in formal attire.
- Ribbon or floral decoration in your colour theme.
- Enough hours to cover the ceremony, photos and reception, including waiting time.
- Fuel, tolls and parking within the agreed area.
- A backup plan if the car has a problem on the day.
Kreto wedding packages start from RM 2,900. See what is included on our weddings & events page.
Plan the timeline
Share a simple schedule with your car provider:
- Pickup at the bride’s home or bridal suite.
- Travel to the ceremony venue (akad nikah, church, temple or registry).
- Photo stops.
- Arrival at the reception.
- Departure after the event.
Add 30 minutes of buffer between each step. Malaysian traffic and photo sessions always take longer than expected.
Checklist before you pay a deposit
- Is the car in your contract the exact model and colour you saw?
- Is the car insured for chauffeured hire?
- How many hours are included, and what does overtime cost?
- Who decorates the car, and can you choose the colours?
- Can you see the car before the day?
- What happens if the car breaks down?
Frequently asked questions
Can we self-drive the wedding car?
For a Rolls-Royce we always provide a chauffeur. Other cars can be self-driven, but most couples prefer a chauffeur so nobody has to drive in formal wear.
Can we take the car for a photo shoot on another day?
Yes. Pre-wedding shoots are popular. Book the car by the hour or for half a day.
Do you provide cars outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. We cover the Klang Valley and can arrange weddings in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Penang.
